Schwartz Law Group Sponsors Leukemia Society "Team In Training"

June 20, 2011

The Schwartz Law Group is proud to announce its partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's, Palm Beach County "Team in Training".  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.  Founded in 1949, the Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma while improving the quality of life of patients and their families.

Through their successful Team In Training (TNT) program, LLS has trained over 420,000 runners, walkers, cyclists and triathletes to participate in a half or full marathon, 100 mile bike ride or triathlon.  Team in Training offers participants of all fitness abilities an in-person, comprehensive training progran under the guidance of local TNT certified coaches.  In return for valuable training with a Team and travel to the events, the participants raise funds to be used in the fight against leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Schwartz Law Group, Docketing Coordinator, Colleen Lundrigan, is an active member of the Palm Beach County Team in Training.  She recently participated in the Disney Princess Half Marathon and is currently in training for the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon.  Never a slacker, Colleen plans to participate in the Nike Women's Full Marathon in San Francisco in October!  Donate or learn more about  the Society's Team in Training program by clicking here.
